CPGC Post-Baccalaureate Fellowships

The College’s Center for Peace and Global Citizenship has long supported student work in the realms of social justice and civic engagement by funding internships, service learning expeditions, and research travel to expand learning outside the classroom walls.

Recently the Center has extended the scope of its programming to include post-baccalaureate fellowships.

The Campus/STARS rating

The Haverford campus is the oldest planned college landscape in the country.

The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education has awarded Haverford College a silver rating in its 2014 Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS), reflecting increased commitment to comprehensive improvements in sustainability.

Community Housing

For students looking to forge close connections around shared interests, Haverford offers special interest housing choices, such as La Casa Hispánica (for those attuned to the culture of the Spanish-speaking world); Cadbury House (quiet study, and alcohol and drug-free); and the Ira de A. Reid House (devoted to extending the legacy of Reid, a renowned sociologist and Haverford’s first tenured African American faculty member).
