Writing Center
The Writing Center at Haverford College fosters a culture of writing that includes conversation with peers and faculty members at all stages of the writing process.
The College’s Center for Peace and Global Citizenship has long supported student work in the realms of social justice and civic engagement by funding internships, service learning expeditions, and research travel to expand learning outside the classroom walls.
Recently the Center has extended the scope of its programming to include post-baccalaureate fellowships.
Haverford attracts intellectually curious, independent learners who value honesty, collaboration, and above all, new ways of seeing and improving the world.
As you perform real-world research and immerse yourself in hands-on learning, you'll work side-by-side with professors who are at the top of their fields.
Our mascot—the Black Squirrel—has a genetic adaptation that gives it a bold, black coat. Join our distinctive community and stand out from the pack with your fellow Haverfordians.
