Tri-Co

Through the Tri-College Consortium, students can take classes, major, participate in student organizations, and attend cultural and academic symposia on Haverford, Bryn Mawr, and Swarthmore College campuses.

Mensa Ansah of the Ghanaian duo FOKN Bois comes to Haverford to screen their films Coz ov Moni 1 and 2 at the Trico-sponsored 50th anniversary celebration of Chinua Achebe's novel, "Arrow of God".

Community

Haverford has more than 145 student groups who publish magazines, host symposia, sing a cappella, discuss religion and spirituality, stay politically active, maintain a system of student self-government, dance, demonstrate and create.

The Moon Reader

The Moon Reader

This multimedia installation by Philadelphia artist Teresa Jaynes invites participants to learn to read Moon, a raised-letter writing system for the blind invented by blind educator William Moon in 1845. Details »

The exhibit includes two handmade books: one set in Moon Type with embossed illustrations and a translation set in both braille and large print.
