Haverford College Professors Discover Most Distant Milky Way Stars

“It really is like looking for a needle in a haystack, except our haystack is made up of millions of red dwarf stars.” —John Bochanski

Visiting Assistant Professor of Astronomy John Bochanski and his team, which includes Associate Professor of Astronomy Beth Willman, published a letter in Astrophysical Journal Letters detailing their discovery of the most distant stars that have been detected to date in our galaxy.
