CCPA Summer Series 2015

The Whitehead Internship Program encourages Haverford students who have completed their sophomore or junior year to engage in an 8 – 10 week summer work experience related to entrepreneurial endeavors, small business enterprise, venture capital or investment finance activities.

James Campbell ’16 is interning at GreenLight Fund Philadelphia, the local subset of a national venture philanthropy organization that seeks to bring empirically-successful nonprofits into the city to address unmet critical needs.

Where They’re Headed: Henri Drake ’15

Where They’re Headed

Henri Drake ’15, who graduated with honors in mathematics, is working as a research specialist at Jorge Sarmiento’s oceanography laboratory at Princeton University for a year.

Part of the Where They’re Headed series in the Haverblog.

While at Haverford Drake learned about the enhanced effects of CO2 on salt marshes, and studied the relationship of Zen Buddhist poets with the environmental activism of the Beat generation.
