Insurance: Enroll or Waive (Required)
Haverford College requires all full-time students maintain health insurance coverage throughout the academic year. Having a health insurance requirement protects students from unexpected high medical costs and provides them with access to quality care.
Haverford College will automatically enroll any eligible students into the school-sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) each academic year that does not complete an insurance waiver.
Visit RCMD to learn how to waive or enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan. Questions? Call RCMD at 1-800-346-4075 or send a message to Haveford.College [at] rcmd.com.
Enroll or Waive Insurance Deadline: August 1, 2024
Note: Students who do not complete a waiver by August 1, 2024 cannot have the SHIP charge removed from their tuition bill and will be expected to pay the insurance premium.
Health Records (Required)
You'll be able to access and submit the matriculation forms required by the College using the HaverHealth Portal. You will be able to access the HaverHealth Portal within 48 hours of the time you activate your Haverford account in early June.
If you have any questions, email hc-healthservices [at] haverford.edu, call (610) 896-1089, or send a fax to (833) 846-6925. Health Services is open Monday-Thursday and CLOSED on Fridays throughout the summer from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All calls and emails will be answered within 48 hours.
Note: To register for the Health Portal you must add two zeros (00) to the front of your Student ID, which can be found in BIONIC.
Health Records Deadline: August 1, 2024
A late fee of $75 will be charged for failure to submit your fully completed health forms by the deadline.
Note: The ID used for your Health Records is different than that used for your Insurance.
Sexual and Gender-based Misconduct Course (Required)
Haverford College is committed to ensuring that all members of the College community have a learning and working environment that is free from sexual misconduct. Take this self-paced course to learn more about campus policies, available resources, and ways to help prevent violence.
How to take the Course: To take the required online course, Impressions, navigate to the website https://learn.ue.org/learn and select 'Forgot your password?' to reset your password and login for the first time. Your username will be your Haverford email address—for security purposes do NOT use your Haverford password.
Additional information is available on the College's Sexual Misconduct website.
Sexual and Gender-based Misconduct Course Deadline: Before you arrive on campus
Record Your Name Pronunciation (Optional)
Name Coach is a web tool that allows you to record the pronunciation of your name for others to hear, thus helping them pronounce your name correctly. Name Coach is integrated into all student, faculty, and staff profile pages on our website. To record your name and add other information to your profile, follow the instructions at hav.to/profile. To find a profile, search the contacts directory on the College website. This brings up a directory listing, and their name links to their profile. If the person has recorded their name with the Name Coach tool, you will see a gray triangle in a gray circle. Click on it to hear that person pronounce their own name. As an example, see President Raymond's page. Name Coach is also integrated into Moodle, the course platform we use, so your teacher and classmates will know your name.
Contact: ewolff2 [at] haverford.edu (subject: Name%20Coach%20Question)
Opens: August 1, 2024
Record Your Name Deadline: August 15, 2024
You@Haverford (Optional)

An amazing amount of personal and academic resources are available to you through YOU@Haverford. Content is individualized based on your stated preferences (whether you are searching for resources to maintain your grades, your mental health, or more) and it is a confidential space.

Religious Affiliation Survey (Optional)
Religious and Spiritual Life on campus at Haverford College is supported through the Quaker Affairs Office. As they work to support students of faith, it is helpful to know the numbers and the breadth of religious practice on campus. Response to this survey is strictly optional and your specific information will only be shared with your permission.
If you have any questions about the survey, about Quakerism, or religious life on campus, connect with Walter at wsulliva [at] haverford.edu.
Religious Affiliation Survey Deadline: August 1, 2024
