Biography
An accomplished molecular biologist, award-winning teacher, and academic leader, Wendy Raymond is the sixteenth President of Haverford College and Professor of Biology.
She is recognized nationally for her work on issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia, the sciences, and liberal arts institutions. Wendy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University, earned her Ph.D. at Harvard in biochemistry, and then followed with an American Cancer Society Postdoctoral Fellowship in genetics at the University of Washington. She previously taught and held administrative positions in academic and DEI leadership at Davidson College and Williams College.
