Tennis ace Laura Chaddock '06 has been named an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholar, the second member along with runner Grant Scott from the just-graduated senior class to receive that prestigious distinction. Chaddock, a psychology major, will study at the University of Illinois graduate school in the fall.

July marks the beginning of the fifth year of the Haverford House Program. The program, run by the Center for Peace and Global Citizenship, provides a venue for the Haverford community to explore global citizenship in our own region and to strengthen connections between the College and the city of Philadelphia.

As much as Amy Arundale valued the cultural and social benefits of her junior year in Scotland, it was always soccer that was at the top of her mind. In fact, it was a running joke among her friends that her penchant for all things soccer made her a rather distracted companion at pubs, where televised matches were extremely diverting.
