Each year more than 130 Haverford students take advantage of the opportunity to study abroad.
Cricket is Haverford’s oldest and most distinctive sport and was introduced by the English landscape architect who planned the campus in 1834, William Carvill.
The Senior Thesis represents the culmination of a Haverford student’s academic experience, and is one of the most important and rewarding ways that Haverford realizes its educational mission.

The Young Academic Alumni Lecture Series connects current students, faculty, and community members to Haverford’s vibrant alumni presence in the academic world. These presentations are sponsored by the Library in partnership with different academic departments.
From Ultimate to ice hockey, badminton to crew, Haverford student-athletes find some serious fun playing all kinds of non-varsity sports.

Haverford’s small size makes possible a highly personalized, hands-on educational experience. Professors work side-by-side with students to do high-level research while also developing analytical thinking and pushing the boundaries of each discipline.
More than 200 people attended the 11th Annual Celebration of Scholarships on April 26, 2014, which brought together students who receive financial aid from endowed scholarship funds with the donors who created and have supported those funds.
