Student Conduct Resolution Guidelines and Procedures
The following guidelines are in place for investigating and resolving reports to the Dean’s Office alleging violations of the Honor Code, Haverford College policies, and local, state, and federal laws. Any member of the Haverford community can make a report to the Dean’s Office if they are concerned about the possibility of such violations. Reports are typically made to the Dean’s Office when prior attempts at peer confrontation have been unsuccessful, in particularly complex cases, in situations involving multiple parties, or when there is an actual or perceived threat to the safety of the community or any individual. The Dean’s Office promotes the College’s ethos of trust, concern, and respect by engaging students in resolution processes that are intended to foster individual growth and community restoration.
