Since our previous update in May, the Search Committee spent the summer building a large and diverse pool of presidential candidates. Thanks once again to all of you who have recommended candidates. Your suggestions, coupled with those of our search consultants and others, have resulted in a large number of strong candidates from a variety of institutions and backgrounds.
The Committee is extremely pleased by the results of the search thus far. The outstanding pool of candidates reflects Haverford’s exceptional reputation, and the attractiveness of the presidential position and role.
The Committee is now working diligently, meeting with candidates, and thoughtfully and thoroughly evaluating their attributes in order to find the person best equipped to lead Haverford into the future.
