Opportunities for Underrepresented Applicants
The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) defines underrepresented in medicine as, "racial and ethnic populations that are underrepresented in the medical profession relative to their numbers in the general population."
These programs vary in style and include enrichment, research, and hands-on clinical experience with the goal of enhancing preparation for a career in the health professions. Below is a list of programs organized by state.
