2013 Study Abroad Photo Contest Winner – Places

Studying abroad in Paris gave me the confidence to set out on my own and explore the world around me. The challenge of becoming fluent in a different language gave me the strength to face many new experiences while abroad. It was also an amazing supplement to my French minor and an experience I would recommend to anyone studying a language as part of their degree. ” – Nora Landis-Shack ’13

Scholarships at Haverford

Fifty percent of Haverford students received financial aid in 2012–2013, thanks to a need-blind admission policy that meets the demonstrated need of all admitted applicants. Haverford awards financial aid in the form of college grants and funds from endowed scholarships.

The 10th Annual Celebration of Scholarships on April 27, 2013 brought together students who have received aid from endowed scholarship funds with the donors who created and have supported those funds.

Student Life

Haverford students are afforded a large amount of autonomy and may use this opportunity to craft the kinds of experiences they wish to have—and they are given the responsibility, the resources and the respect necessary for that to happen.
