Honor Code
The Honor Code-a philosophy of trust, concern, and respect-guides our entire campus community. Other reflections of the Honor Code include the absence of RAs in dorms, 24-hour lab access and the lack of an admission enrollment deposit.
Fifty percent of Haverford students received financial aid in 2012–2013, thanks to a need-blind admission policy that meets the demonstrated need of all admitted applicants. Haverford awards financial aid in the form of college grants and funds from endowed scholarships.
Haverford attracts intellectually curious, independent learners who value honesty, collaboration, and above all, new ways of seeing and improving the world.
As you perform real-world research and immerse yourself in hands-on learning, you'll work side-by-side with professors who are at the top of their fields.
Our mascot—the Black Squirrel—has a genetic adaptation that gives it a bold, black coat. Join our distinctive community and stand out from the pack with your fellow Haverfordians.
*We have a very tiny magic 8 ball.
