Hackathon
Students from Haverford, Bryn Mawr, and Swarthmore colleges had just 48 hours to conceive, develop, and present their web and mobile technology ideas at the second annual Tri-Co Hackathon.
Since 2011 College Communications has produced a unique homepage each weekday to spotlight the rich diversity of Haverford's academic programming, extracurricular offerings, campus culture, and community members' accomplishments.

The Math Question Center is an informal gathering place where students work in groups on math homework and get assistance when they need it. It is staffed five evenings each week by mathematics faculty and majors.
Russian Media Center, a website that translates notable Russia news articles into English, was started by young alums and its all-volunteer staff includes several other Haverford grads as well as current students.

Associate Professor of Physics Suzanne Amador Kane used a special helmet-mounted camera on a goshawk to analyze the prey-pursuit strategy of the fast and highly maneuverable bird of prey.
This work is detailed in a new paper in the current issue of The Journal of Experimental Biology.

Fords topped the Centennial Conference 2014 Fall Academic Honor Roll, with 45 of the list’s 383 student-athletes coming from Haverford.
