After an 18-month renovation, Haverford’s main library, now called Lutnick Library, reopened with the new school year, ushering in a new era for scholarship at the College.

Lutnick Library preserves the historic spaces of Magill, but includes many enhancements and advancements, such as technological robustness and an abundance of natural light. Photo by Patrick Montero.

Koshland Integrated Natural Sciences Center

The departments of astronomy, biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics, and psychology are housed in the state-of-the-art Marian E. Koshland Integrated Natural Sciences Center (KINSC).

The interdisciplinary faculty behind the “Dark Reactions Project” and eight of their students co-authored an article identifying previously unacknowledged human biases in chemical reaction data that impedes exploratory inorganic synthesis. Study Abroad Photo Contest

“I’m immensely happy that I made the decision to study abroad at University College Dublin during the spring 2019 semester. Each year more than 130 Haverford students take advantage of the opportunity to study abroad.
