Dan Greenspan '77, a former Haverford music major, is the founder, owner, and head (and only) baker at Dan’s Brick Oven Bread, which he launched in 2010.
Read his story in the Winter 2017 issue of Haverford magazine.
“I never understood what a 'life-changing' experience was until I went to Rome. I walked in with eyes half-lidded and walked out with a new respect for the beauty of the world and its infinite complexities.” – Zakery Oglesby '17
Each year more than 130 Haverford students take advantage of the opportunity to study abroad.
Haverford attracts intellectually curious, independent learners who value honesty, collaboration, and above all, new ways of seeing and improving the world.
As you perform real-world research and immerse yourself in hands-on learning, you'll work side-by-side with professors who are at the top of their fields.
Our mascot—the Black Squirrel—has a genetic adaptation that gives it a bold, black coat. Join our distinctive community and stand out from the pack with your fellow Haverfordians.
