Martha Van Artsdalen, Haverford's plant curator, was recently interviewed for an article that appeared in the Delaware County News. Van Artsdalen is responsible for keeping an inventory of and caring for all of the trees and shrubs in the College's arboretum, which is over 100 years old.

Mark Rembert '07 was one of five finalists featured on the July 19th broadcast of the 2010 VH1 Do Something Awards Show. The prize recognizes young people 25 and under who are making the world a better place. Rembert co-founded an organization called Energize Clinton County to help strengthen the economic future of his hometown of Wilmington, Ohio.
