Research:
My research interests include integrated mental and behavioral health care, with an emphasis on pediatric sleep research. I have been fortunate to participate in several research labs at Saint Joseph’s University (SJU) and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Working in the areas of pediatric sleep and cardiology has fostered my above-mentioned interest in integrated care, as well as expanded these interests to include (a) the identification of sociodemographic factors associated with poorer health outcomes and (b) the formulation of individualized, family-based interventions.
I continue to assist with the preparation of manuscripts and poster presentations within the Behavior, Emotion, Development, and Sleep (BEDS) lab, a multi-institutional lab with a focus on improving pediatric sleep and disseminating evidence-based information regarding healthy pediatric sleep. More on the BEDS lab can be found in the “My Links” section below.
