Research
My primary research interest lies in applying mathematical modeling to ecological systems. I am particularly drawn to projects that utilize techniques from applied mathematics to address ecological issues. For example, I have explored how mathematical models can describe the population interactions between plants exhibiting compensatory growth and their herbivores. While my background is rooted in mathematical biology, I am eager to investigate applications of mathematical modeling in other fields as well. In the past, I mentored undergraduate group research projects on disease modeling, and I hope to continue exploring the use of compartmental models in various contexts. Mathematical modeling is a dynamic and fascinating area of research, and I am excited about the prospect of collaborating with others who share a curiosity for its diverse applications.
