Justin is on campus on Mondays, Thursdays, and frequently other days. Drop by to say hello, hola, bonjour, or hej!
Justin came to Haverford College in January 2022. As a member of the gift planning team in Institutional Advancement, he helps the College's most stalwart supporters to be more strategic about integrating their philanthropic and overall financial goals, while also supervising gift planning's back-office regulatory, compliance, tax, and estate tracking functions. Justin previously spent ten years in private practice as an estate planning attorney and worked in information technology before law school. He holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing and French from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a law degree with honors from Elon University, and an LL.M. in tax law from the University of Florida.
In his personal time, Justin enjoys cooking and eating (especially Indian, Middle Eastern, Spanish, Japanese, and Southern US food), hiking (especially Valley Forge), visiting museums (especially Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Barnes Collection, the Prado, Frida Kahlo's house, and anywhere housing a Picasso), international travel (especially Madrid, Tokyo, Mexico City, Istanbul, and Stockholm), learning foreign languages (currently working on Swedish and Catalan), and spending time with his husband and dog.
