Emily Johnson is the Director of the Marilou Allen Office of Service & Community Collaboration (formerly known as 8th Dimension).
Emily works closely with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community partners on local engagement and volunteering initiatives. She advises a student staff that programs co-curricular volunteer activities for the student body as well as opportunities to engage the local community on campus, and supports other student run organizations that have a focus on community service. She serves in an advisory role with the LIFTFAR fund, which helps students deal with costs that arise from unexpected and emergency situations, and manages the Community Based Work Study program, in which students who receive federal work study funds can work at local non-profit organizations. She works within the Student Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team in Student Life.
