Emily Drummond joined the Together with Humanities program as Assessment and Project Manager in August 2024. She holds a BA in Linguistics and Music from Bryn Mawr College (Class of '17) and a PhD in Linguistics from UC Berkeley. Her doctoral research focused on collaborative documentation and revitalization of Nukuoro, a Polynesian language spoken in the Federated States of Micronesia, which has sparked a continued interest in community-engaged learning in higher education. Outside of Haverford, Emily sings professionally and knits recreationally.
Emily works a hybrid schedule and is in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Her office is located on the ground floor of Founders Hall.
