Student Engagement & Leadership
Outdoor Education
Haverford Outdoors Club's (HavOC) goal is to provide Haverford students with an easily accessible and affordable opportunity to learn about and experience the wilderness around them. Our activities include hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, and more. Nearly all of our events are open to all skills level and require no financial commitment.
Through these various trips and events, we hope to teach important and fun outdoor skills, as well as provide a multitude of ways for students to lead a more healthy and active lifestyle, meet new friends in our community, and develop leadership skills and experience. During this process, we also strive to become better stewards and conservationists for the environment around us.
Gear Rental
Havoc is happy to rent out gear to Haverford students when possible. It is always free and all that we ask is that you treat our gear nicely. Please be aware that we do not rent gear during spring/fall break as we are usually using it! Any questions can be directed to us via our contacts in Haverford Engage.
