The Staff Association Executive Committee is seeking nominations for one staff representative to serve on the Haverford College 2019-21 Strategic Planning Steering Committee, chaired by President Raymond.
Dear Staff Association Colleagues,
The Staff Association Executive Committee is seeking self-nominations for one staff representative to serve on the Haverford College 2019-2021 Strategic Planning Steering Committee, chaired by President Raymond.
This committee will meet regularly over the next two years and be responsible for stewarding the College community through the planning process that will guide Haverford’s strategic decision-making over the next 5 to 10 year period.
The responsibilities of the staff representative will be to serve on the committee on behalf of the Staff Association for its full duration, provide regular updates to and liaison with the Executive Committee, and be a resource for colleagues about the process and progress of the committee. For a a full description and timeline of the Strategic Planning Steering Committee, contact Sara Goddard.
Nominees are asked to write a statement of interest describing why they want to be on the steering committee, how their current or past experiences position them to serve as a representative of the staff, and how they hope to serve the full Haverford College committee through this appointment. Nominations will be read by the full Executive Committee, and the EC will select the staff representative by November 8, 2019.
Please note: If any association member currently serving on the Executive Committee nominates themselves, they will not be eligible to participate in the selection process of the staff representative.
