Staff Association
Executive Committee
The Haverford College Staff Association is led by an Executive Committee that has general direction of the business and affairs of the Association.
The Executive Committee elects new Committee members from the Staff Association annually during their last meeting of the spring semester or as needed. Members of the Executive Committee serve three-year terms and are eligible to serve two consecutive terms. Terms begin each July 1. Staff Association members who are not members of the EC but who have been selected to serve as staff representatives on College committees are invited to serve as ex officio members of the EC during their appointments. The Executive Committee reports to the Staff Association.
Executive Committee Officers
Chair
The Chair shall convene and preside at all meetings of the Association and of the Executive Committee. The Chair shall serve as an ex officio, non-voting member of the EC and all SA/EC committees.
Vice Chair
The Vice Chair shall be responsible for the process of maintaining the overall membership of the Executive Committee and staff representatives to College committees, including tracking the tenure of EC members and staff representatives
Secretary
The Secretary shall announce Staff Association and Executive Committee meetings, and take full minutes at such meetings. The Secretary shall be responsible for publishing meeting minutes and ensuring that the permanent records of the Association are properly archived
