Employee Assistance Program
For faculty seeking advice and guidance regarding emotional and mental health issues, the College employs the Employee Assistance Program through Carebridge to assist in navigating these situations. As part of the benefit, faculty and their immediate family members have access to three consultations, either face-to-face or via scheduled telephone counseling sessions. On-going coaching and follow-up are also available. This service provides one complete resource to address a wide variety of personal and family needs. Carebridge can be reached toll-free at (800) 437-0911. A Carebridge Access Specialist will quickly qualify you for service and see that you receive the information or assistance you need.
Haverford Fitness Center
All faculty enjoy free access to the Arn ’76 and Nancy Tellem Fitness Center. Located on the first floor of the Douglas B. Gardner '83 Integrated Athletic Center, The fitness center offers a multitude of workout options, including free weights, exercise bicycles, and cardiovascular and strength training machines.
Haverford College Nature Trail and Arboretum
Haverford’s campus is home to a beautiful arboretum of over 2500 trees and a 2.5 mile nature loop trail for walking.
