Since 2001, the CPGC has developed deep relationships and many connections with organizations around the world, fostering evolving partnerships. We continually welcome new students, faculty, and organizations into our global community focused on peace and social justice.

International Programs

Casa Refugiados
Mexico City, Mexico
Aid in refugee resettlement, humanitarian assistance, and peace education and advocacy. Help build solidarity networks, develop workshops, and support the reception and assessment of new arrivals during their integration in Mexican society.

Grupo de Apoyo Mutuo (GAM)
Remote internship with 1-2 weeks in person, Guatemala City
Student work will be a combination of independent research with the GAM as well as service-oriented projects that advance the work of the GAM to protect human rights and represent families of the disappeared.

Laɣim Tehi Tuma-Dalun
Dalun, Ghana
Laɣim Tehi Tuma (“Thinking Together” in Dagbani) is a Bi-Co Summer Action Research fellowship with the local community focused on re-imagining education through community-based partnerships, collaborative study, and cultural exchange.

Nepal Summer Internship
Kathmandu, Nepal
Students will work for a leading NGO aligned with their major or area of interest, while participating in seminars, guest lectures, and discussions exploring Nepali history and current challenges.

Peace Place Internship
Pati, Central Java, Indonesia
Work with Friends Peace Teams - Asia West Pacific. Peace Place is a community learning center whose mission is to reduce the violence from centuries of colonization and work towards making peace with each other and with nature. Internships are custom designed around the student’s interests.

Sijal Institute
Amman, Jordan
In this 8-week internship, students will work with a local organization while developing their Arabic language learning with a private tutor provided by Sijal.

Ticha Project
Oaxaca, Mexico
Work on a digital scholarship project centered on a corpus of Zapotec language texts from the Mexican Colonial period. Opportunities involve encoding, translation, editing / writing / researching of pedagogical material, networking and communicating with teachers / instructors in the U.S. and/or Mexico, and more.

Promote sustainable agriculture among youth and children. Interns will broaden their horizons through cultural immersion; develop practical skills in agriculture, entrepreneurship, and sustainability; contribute to meaningful projects that benefit local communities; and forge connections with fellow interns and Caribbean culture enthusiasts.
