This visualization of paths after Haverford highlights our graduates’ jobs and post-graduate education at 1, 5, 10, and 25-year milestones. These slices of our alumni community illustrate the potential of a Haverford education.
For this project, we surveyed and collected data on Haverford alumni from three survey cycles: the classes of 2016, 2012, 2007, and 1992, the classes of 2017, 2013, 2008, and 1993, and the classes of 2018, 2014, 2009, and 1994. Our overall response rate of 90% (3284 respondents) enables this rich look at the many ways Haverford students’ majors lead to careers or further study in various industries and areas.
Please note: For clarity and efficiency, some majors have been consolidated or disassociated for this visualization, in response to the expansion and contraction of the college curriculum over time. Majors not listed are not represented within the sample, or yielded a sample of fewer than three individuals. This is particularly notable for consortial majors. Additionally, the data below is only a representation of the information we were able to gather at one moment in time, though, and is not continuously refreshed. Alumni interested in updating their post-graduate career and education information may do so by updating their alumni profile at fords.haverford.edu or contacting alumni records at devrec [at] haverford.edu.
