Student Activities - Fords Against Boredom
Haverford has more than 145 student groups that publish magazines, host symposia, sing a cappella, discuss religion and spirituality, stay politically active, maintain a system of student self-government, dance, demonstrate and create.
Alumni - Toan Nguyen '14
A chemistry major and biochemistry concentrator, Toan Nguyen '14 developed a passion for medicine and social justice after taking an independent college programs course called “Bodies of Injustice: Health, Illness, and Healing in Contexts of Inequality.”
Sustainability
The Committee for Environmental Responsibility (CER) was created by the students, faculty, and staff of Haverford College, and founded on our socially responsible principles. CER's mission is to educate our community about global environmental concerns, and to be a positive example for students at Haverford and other colleges to follow.
