The health studies minor is examining compassion-based healthcare in two separate internships.

The astrophysics major is studying a cosmological phenomenon known as isocurvature perturbations. 

As an intern with the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology’s exhibitions department, classical and near eastern archaeology minor Leila Breen ’20 is learning first-hand how to curate and showcase historical narratives.

The comparative literature major used her thesis to study the relationship between memory and language in the wake of civil wars, calling upon her study abroad experience in Lima, Peru, to augment her analysis of post-conflict culture in Peru and Sri Lanka.

In the first year of the Haverford-Jefferson Medical School Early Admission Program, students are taking on specialized internships in preparation for their planned enrollment at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College.

The biology major is researching contagious bacteria in Eric Miller’s lab this summer.
