HerStory and HaverQueer Anthologies: Call for Submissions
Submission Deadline: April 14th
We are excited to announce the revival of HerStory and HaverQueer anthologies this year! A tradition that began in 1983 with the first class of women, HerStory is an anthology that is composed of students’ stories, poetry, and art capturing their years at Haverford. The anthology has been published annually and archived at GRASE. HaverQueer is a new anthology that shares the name of a publication released in 2017 capturing the queer history of Haverford, will capture the history, experiences, and stories of LGBTQIA+ students at Haverford.
We are producing a 40th Year Anniversary Special Edition of the anthologies, and invite all members of our communities, including students, faculty, staff, and alumni, to submit a piece of work for HerStory and HaverQueer. Submissions can range from poems, songs, journal entries, photographs, clips of music (we will add links to the clips on our digital and physical copies) etc. You do not have to submit anything original! We are excited to see the creativity you have to showcase, and we will be presenting the publication at Lavender Graduation on May 11.
