Alumni Weekend 2021

As a registrant, you should use this link to access the platform. You will be directed to a login page where you will enter your first name, last name, and the email address you used for registration. Once each box is complete, click "Next" to continue. On the next page, you will be required to enter a six digit code that will be both emailed and texted to you (this is differnt from your confirmation number). The verification code should allow you access for a 24 hour period and you will not have to enter it again. After a period of inactivity you may need to log in again, at which time you will be provided with a new number so there is no need to save the number once it is entered. 

Submitting this verification number will grant you access to the platform landing page, featuring a listing of all of the events for which you have registered. Event times, dates, and details will be visible at all times. Five minutes before the start time of each event, a button will appear allowing you to join the session. 

Across the top of the page, under the event logo, you will see additional navigation tabs allowing you to view all upcoming sessions (regardless of whether or not you registered for them), view recordings of completed events, learn about ways to stay connected with College departments and alumni affinity groups, and view a list of all registered attendees.

As the event series continues, you’ll log in each day and attend the events, view recordings, and access resources as you wish.

Some of our events utilize Zoom, so please make sure you download or update the appropriate software.

The Young Alumni Affinity Group (YAAG) invites you to enjoy a tasty themed beverage while you join fellow Fords in our Saturday evening docket of events. The purpose of YAAG is to advocate for the needs of Haverford's young alumni and advise young alumni programming. The Group seeks to support recent graduates with programs, communications and opportunities that are uniquely tailored to strengthen the active involvement of young alumni in support of Haverford College and the Alumni Association.

Black Squirrel Shake

Ingredients
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1/2 cup whole milk (cold)
½ tablespoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
Pinch of salt
garnish: whipped cream, shaved chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg
optional: 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Steps to Make It
Gather your ingredients. Place the ice cream, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and chocolate syrup into the blender. Don't waste any time after scooping, you don't want the ice cream to melt too much. If you're adding chocolate chips, you can also throw those in now. Blend until completely smooth.

Pour into your glasses immediately and top with whipped cream, extra spices, and shaved chocolate.

Variations
Mocha Milkshake: Replace half of the milk with cold, strong, freshly brewed coffee, for a milkshake with a zing of caffeine.

Dairy-Free Version: This shake is so easy to make dairy-free. Replace the whole milk with almond, coconut, or oat milk and the ice cream with a dairy-free vanilla ice cream.

Enjoy With Adult Libations: Add 1 jigger of your preferred dark rum.
