Community Kitchen

The VCAM Community Kitchen is open to faculty, staff, and students interested in organizing course projects, workshops, or other public programming around food.
The Sequoia Community Kitchen Fund
While anyone can request to use the Community Kitchen via EMS, the Sequoia Fund can provide financial support of up to $1000 per grant for specific events or projects. Funding can be used for food, drink, and materials; it can also help defray costs of workshop leaders and other creative/scholarly visitors. Grantees are responsible for all clean-up after the event.
The Sequoia Community Kitchen Fund has now been spent for the 2024-25 academic year. Please reach out to jweissin@haverford.edu to discuss funding for VCAM Kitchen projects for the fall 2025 semester and beyond.
VCAM Student Kitchen Managers
The VCAM Community Kitchen is overseen by VCAM Student Kitchen Managers Fatoumata Bamba '26 and Jacquie Denamiel '27. Please reach out to them with any ideas or requests via email or this form!
