Summer Study Abroad
Summer Study Abroad is an option for students interested in spending summers taking courses overseas, and is not under the oversight of International Academic Programs (Study Abroad).
In order to receive credit, students must follow the procedures outlined in the Academic Regulations, under the “Summer Study at Another Institution” section. In so doing, students must consult with the chairperson of the Haverford department which corresponds to the field in which the work is to be done, along with their advisor and Dean. They then must submit the summer study abroad form to the Registrar’s Office in advance of attending the program. Students may not apply for retroactive credit for programs already completed.
Students have received credit from many programs on the following list. This is not an exhaustive catalog or a suggested list; students are free to apply for credit from a program not listed, or to attend a program for no academic credit.
Additionally, GoAbroad.com is a good resource for learning about potential summer study options.
