Poetry Reading & Workshop

The Hurford Center for the Arts and Humanities’ Student Arts Fund helps students pursue creative interests that build upon, complement and go beyond the offerings of our formal curriculum.

Through the Student Arts Fund, Poet John Rybicki returns to Haverford College on December 6th & 7th, 2012 for a Poetry Reading and Workshop.

In the Collection: The Birds of America

In the Collection

John James Audubon’s The Birds of America: From Drawings Made in the United States and Their Territories is considered an artistic and scientific masterpiece. In addition to two first-edition sets produced between 1839 and 1844, the College possesses a pen-and-ink sketch of a Red-breasted Snipe with field notes in Audubon’s hand.

"In the Collection" highlights some of the rare and marvelous items that are part of Magill Library's Special Collections.
