Using Primary Sources at Haverford
Details
Welcome back to our collections!
Quaker & Special Collections includes rare books, manuscripts, the college archives, and fine arts. We welcome everyone interested in using our materials, no matter what your interest or project is. We’re excited to welcome everyone back to use our collections again! Due to COVID-19, and to protect the health of all, some things are a little different this year.
Quaker & Special Collections is open by appointment Monday 1-5 and Tuesday through Friday 9-5. Virtual appointments and reproductions are available to anyone, including Haverford community members. Virtual appointments offer the opportunity to view materials virtually through a camera and ask questions of the librarian assisting you. Members of the Haverford community, Bryn Mawr students taking Haverford courses which require access, Gest and Scattergood Fellows, and researchers with a pressing need to access the physical collections can request in-person appointments. Quaker & Special Collections staff are always happy to consult about research questions via Zoom or email; please contact hc-special [at] haverford.edu () with any questions.
