Careers in Library & Information Science: A Week-Long Exploration
Details
The application deadline is approaching for this opportunity!
This summer a collaboration of local college libraries--including Haverford, Swarthmore, Bryn Mawr, Gettysburg, and Lafayette Libraries--are seeking students interested in the field of library and information science to participate in a week-long exploration (May 20th-24th) on the Bryn Mawr College campus. The goal is to introduce students from under-represented groups to the field of library and information science and to promote the American Library Association's fundamental values of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Together we will explore connections between librarianship, career options, and pressing social issues.
*Room and board at Bryn Mawr College included as well as a $500 stipend.
*Apply online at the CCPA website by Sunday, April 14th by 11:59PM EDT.
