Yearly Haverford IT Security Training
Hello Friends! Starting next week 4/3/23 IITS will be starting our annual IT Security Training program. Similar to last year, the training will be done through a service called KnowBe4. You will receive an email from the Haverford IT Service Desk via training.knowbe4.com. With the subject line "You've been enrolled in the yearly Haverford College IT Security Training FY23." This is a legitimate email! Please follow the link to the KnowBe4 portal and sign in with your regular Haverford credentials.
The training consists of four modules, including videos, interactive training, and games, focused on different aspects of IT security. This year we focused a little more on Phishing as it is still one of the most prevelant and dangerous techniques. We strive to select modules that fulfill legal requirements as well as provide information for people of all levels of technological fluency. The total time to complete the training is only 30 to 40 minutes. The training will be active until 4/21/23 so please be sure to complete before then!
