"Deconstructing Bad Bunny: Where Does Today's Reggaetón Come From?"
Organized by Lyali Pereda Figueroa '26. Supported by the Hurford Center’s new Summer Creative Fellowship, Lyali Pereda Figueroa ’26 spent the summer working with Hasta ‘Bajo Project, a non-profit organization based in Puerto Rico dedicated to creating a historical archive of reggaetón. She now presents the VCAM exhibition Deconstructing Bad Bunny, exploring the origins of the genre through laser-cut images of iconic reggaetón artists. Sponsored by HCAH, SONIC WORLDS, and VCAM’s Malcolm Baldwin 1962 Fund.

- LHM Block Party: Saturday, October 7, outside of the Latinx Cultural Center.
Donation Drive
- We're collecting donations of school supplies (new or like new) for Taller Puertorriqueno! The collection box will be in the Stokes lobby all month.
Film Screening
- Discover the history of the United Farm Workers Union and the life of its founder, Cesar Chavez, in the documentary, "The Fight in the Fields."
- The screening will take place on September 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the VCAM screening room.
Off-Campus Events
Feria del Barrio
- Sunday, September 10 at 10:00 a.m.
