Fall break events are open to all students.
Schedule of Events
Friday, Oct 13:
6pm Dinner at the Friends Meeting House (Haverford Friends School) 855 Buck Ln, Haverford, PA 19041
The members of the Haverford Friends Meeting are hosting a monthly home-cooked dinner to celebrate and get to know Haverford (and other Tri-Co) students who are Quaker or interested in getting to know more about Quakerism. Unless otherwise necessary, dinners will be on the second Friday night of each month.
Directions to Friends Meeting House: Over the bridge, past Nerd House, up the path, on the left beyond the small cemetery.
All are welcome.
No need to bring anything except yourself and possibly a friend.
Registration is highly preferred by Wednesday, Oct 11 so that they can know about special dietary needs and how much food to prepare. However, even if you don’t have a chance to register - please know that you’re very welcome!
Saturday, Oct 14:
1-4pm: H-Mart Trip - train tickets provided - meet at Stokes Blue Bus Stop at 1pm
8pm: Anime & Cookies at VCAM Screening Room

Train tickets available for Chesick Scholars at the Chesick Office.
The International Student Support office (Stokes 107B) will also have a limited number of train tickets available. Please pick up tickets by Friday afternoon, Oct 13th.
Sunday, October 15
Potluck Dinner
Bring ingredients to the VCAM dinner and cook together! The VCAM kitchen is reserved between 1pm - 6pm. Dinner will be around 6pm.
You can buy ingredients during the H-Mart trip!
Monday, Oct 16:
12:30pm: Lunch & Board Games at Stokes 106 - come for lunch, stay for board games!
7pm: Self-care Night at VCAM Lounge
Tuesday, Oct 17
Shopping Trip to Philadelphia Premium Outlets
Depart campus at 1 pm from Stokes Hall blue bus stop. Return to campus approx 6pm. This is a great time to stock up on winter gear! Register required. Limited seats available. Registration here.
Wednesday, Oct 18:
10:30am - 3pm - Spiral Q Community Art Build - Registration required
1pm - Crafternoon at Stokes 106
Wednesday, Oct 18: Community Art Build for Peoplehood Parade and Lunch Join one of Spiral Q’s community art builds! All experience levels are invited to join in the puppet and prop building, paper machéing, cutting, painting, screen printing, sewing, idea-generating, and community building that lies ahead. We will be working with activists and community groups to create art for their protest and advocacy campaigns in the streets (and in the Peoplehood Parade) as well as developing and creating the Peoplehood Pageant!

Transport for Wednesday:
We have reserved a blue bus for this event. Please meet at the Blue Bus Stop at Stokes at 10:30am. We will be returning to campus around 2:40pm.
Transport Plan for Saturday Parade:
Participants can also attend the Parade on Saturday, October 21. Participants should meet at Haverford Norristown High Speed Line station at 11:20am.

8pm - International Student Association Social Night at the VCAM Lounge
Info for Cherry Crest Farm Afternoon: Join us for this afternoon of fall fun activities! Corn mazes, hay chutes, straw bale racing, discovery barn, carnival games and more! The entry ticket costs and transport will be covered by the College. Participants may need to cover the costs of any snacks, and some rides. Meet at the Stokes Blue Bus Stop at 12:45pm.
