Innovations Program
Haverford’s robust liberal arts education equips our students with skills for critical analysis and inquiry, enabling them to identify, explore, and address complex problems.
This drive and intention is deeply rooted in the high level of autonomy, purpose, and desire for change that students experience, both in and outside the classroom afforded at Haverford.
Workshops, talks, and the Summer Innovation Incubator creates hands-on experiences along with growth, innovation and entrepreneurial mindsets and toolkits. Enabling students to apply these concepts within their studies empowers them to transform classroom learning into real-world action.
What do you want to create, change, transform?
If you have an idea but don’t know where to start or how to access resources, the Haverford Innovations Program (HIP) works with students like you to find pathways and resources.
The Innovations Program guides students navigating the uncertainties of designing and validating an idea in a low-risk environment. Students evaluate concepts, build and test prototypes, and implement ideas while practicing the essential skills to succeed as changemakers.
