Faculty & Staff Peer Group Comparisons
These are the final peer comparison groups, as recommended by Mercer, our compensation study consultants and approved by senior leadership. This selection of peer institutions are considered institutions that reflect highly important aspects of Haverford's criteria and will serve as the foundation for comparing Haverford's faculty and staff benefits and compensation.
Job Architecture Design & Career Stream Levels
This is the final design of Haverford's staff job architecture framework. It consists of 10 job levels and four career streams: Executive, Management, Professional and Support. Each of these career levels consists of defined competencies such as skill level, scope of work, institutional impact and knowledge and experience to name a few. A job architecture is how we think about and organize our talent:
- What is the talent pipeline?
- How can we enable career growth?
- How can we encourage individual accountability and engagement with careers?
A job architecture provides a common language to explain the job levels and roles within the College and are designed to support career growth.
