Plenary is a critical mechanism for student self-governance at Haverford College. Students gather to raise, discuss, and debate issues on campus. Resolutions passed by the Students’ Association are viewed as the will of the body, and Students’ Council is then tasked with the carrying out and upholding of any changes or initiatives.
Haverfordians are regularly recognized for scholarly achievement through awards and fellowships such as Fulbright, Watson, Guggenheim, and the Nobel Prize.
This scrapbook compiled by Elliston P. Morris Jr., Class of 1922, features dance cards, programs from campus events, photos of faculty and fellow students, and newspaper clippings of Haverford athletic teams and world events, including the end of World War I and the first national election in which women could vote.
"In the Collection" highlights some of the rare and marvelous items that are part of Magill Library's Special Collections.
The club, founded in 2017 by Kaden St. Onge ’20, is designed to teach fundamental martial arts skills through the widely practiced and well-known style of Shotokan karate.
