Haverford’s biochemistry program is located at the interface between the biological, chemical, and physical sciences.
The Center for Peace and Global Citizenship grew out of faculty and student interests that emerged in the late 1990s. Since then, the Center has developed and expanded into a flourishing nexus of social responsibility, civic engagement, and global peace work, both on campus and in the greater community.

Though the College’s cherished Honor Code started its life in 1897 as a simple system for holding exams without proctors, it has become the purest expression of the College’s values and an intrinsic part of a Haverford education.
The Haverford experience includes the opportunity to work closely with—and benefit from—mentors including faculty and advisors such as Dean of Academic Affairs Phil Bean.
The Marian E. Koshland Integrated Natural Sciences Center's programming and funding supports the faculty and students of the departments of Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Mathematics and Statistics, and Computer Science as well as others within the college who wish to pursue research in the sciences.
