VCAM is hosting three new exhibits: Lives Derailed: Stories of Returning Mexican Migrants, which gathers portraits and interviews of some of the people whose stories were recorded as part of the Migration Encounters oral history project; Nunca Dejemos de Luchar, which shares the result of community conversations and art-making workshops with artist Michelle Angela Ortiz; and In Absentia, which uses the visual language of W.E.B. Du Bois’ early-20th-century infographics as a starting place for considering the veracity of data today. Details »
