Environmental Studies

Building on years of student interest stoked by a decade of classes in the discipline and the introduction of a  Tri-Co minor in 2011, an innovative new Bi-Co environmental studies major launched this year, combining insights from biology, anthropology, literature, and more.

Campus Fly Over: Winter at Haverford

Our campus has 200 acres of award-winning architecture and landscaping; more than 50 academic, athletic and residential buildings; and a nationally recognized arboretum with 400 species of trees and shrubs, a 3.5-acre duck pond, gardens, and wooded areas.
