Through funding from the Hurford Center for the Arts & Humanities, anthropology major Samuel Fox ’14 spent his summer in Arizona doing field research and finished the first draft of his novella, which features an anthropologist and a fictional citizen border patrol group.
Every year, Haverford hosts guest speakers through programs such as Distinguished Visitors and Young Academic Alumni Lecture Series. These lectures, classroom visits and workshops enhance and supplement the core curriculum.
