Free screening of Saving Hubble at 7 p.m. followed by public observing through Haverford’s telescopes, weather permitting. Local amateur astronomers will be in attendance with their own telescopes. Event Details »

Carl Sigmond ’13, through a grant from the Hurford Center for Arts and Humanities and the Koshland Integrated Natural Sciences Center, documented the life and legacy of his grandfather, Albert Schatz, who discovered streptomycin, the first antibiotic effective against tuberculosis.
