Haverford defeated Washington College, 9-1, to earn its first Centennial Conference title in baseball and a trip to the NCAA tournament.

The victory capped an unbeaten run through the conference playoffs which included a win over third-seed Washington (28-12) and a triumph over host and top seed Johns Hopkins.

Then & Now: Haverfest

When a band called The Original Mavericks took the stage at Haverfest 2011, they continued a long tradition of performing on the steps of Founders, one that goes back at least as far as the 1960s.
